Matti Jämsén

who was honoured as Finnish Chef of the Year 2005, is Finland’s most successful representative at the Bocuse d’Or World Chef Championship and presently one of its judges. In spring 2018, he established the Gastro Bar Sesonki restaurant in Järvenpää, Finland’s first combined grocery store and restaurant. The restaurant serves seasonal Finnish delicacies. Matti Jämsén passed away autumn 2020 but his legacy stays strongly in our hearts.
